“Lovely & beautiful hotel, in a very quiet area even in high season in August. The highway which was pointed out by other visitors is visible, but not too loud. If they would plant a few more trees, the issue could be solved. Staff is a bit hit and miss, not comparable to other 5 star hotels. Especially the younger staff could benefit from hospitality trainings. The breakfast has such a highlight. Dinner was also great, but not too many options. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ich persönlich fand das Zimmer im Herrenhaus sogar schöner als die Suite, die wir zuvor hatten.”

“The service attitude of the reception staffs was appalling. There were ants in the room and some bed bugs on our bed. They have no electric wall sockets for boiling water. Expect their guests to boil their water next to their beds or in the toilets. Their technician had to bring us an extension cord to share with the nearby tv wall plug. Outrageous!”

“This hotel is in a great location and looks stunning from the outside. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff were very helpful. We were allocated rooms in the annex and although clean these are not of 5 star quality. The furniture in these rooms are not of the quality available in the main building. We had 3 rooms and 2 were of a good size with balconies which accommodated outside seating. The last room was much smaller with no outside seating which I don’t believe was fair as we had 3……
